Shiri Rozenberg is a photographer and conceptual artist working with photography and installation. She holds both a BFA and an MFA

from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem.

Rozenberg’s practice reflects on themes of belonging, gender, cultural dualities, and self-presentation. Her work often begins with a process of wandering and collecting - engaging with places, people, and visual fragments that carry personal and collective histories. Each work is rooted

in its place of origin, and through her studio process, she recontextualizes and transforms it. In doing so, she explores the tension between personal identity and the surrounding social landscape, seeking to redefine or dissolve existing boundaries.

Her process involves creating manual collages from diverse sources: the history of photography, anonymous and family archives, personal photographs, and found objects. These collages often evolve into three-dimensional compositions that are digitally scanned and enlarged, shifting in scale from intimate fragments to almost human-sized forms. By layering, erasing, and obscuring visual traces, Rozenberg generates images that blur time and identity. Her work frames not only the image but the act of looking itself, positioning the viewer within a dialogue between intention and interpretation.
